Make a disciplinary output of students to the Sri Lankan society

By the time of 1927 at reign of Rev. Bro. Anthony this association originated. But the progress of the association was slow. Amidst of the obstacles we had to face , it was a twilight era. On 1976 one day in the month of June was a red letter day for us. We owe fully  remember Rev. Bro. Clifford Perera who strengthen us to stand again. Master. Thilak Siyambalapitiya was the first Head Prefect and Master Sarathchandra Manthrirathna was the first Deputy Head Prefect. To mark this event plant had been planted on the tree planting day. By then the prefects had to put a band of Blue-Cerise-Blue band around their arm and the head prefect wore a silver colour badge. Upto now the association has come a challenging and victorious journey.

Structure of the Association

Though we had a proper set of rules and regulations by 80th decade it was properly organized by Rev. Bro. Clinton Perera who was the principal by that time and Rev. Bro. Michael De Waas who was the facilitator by then.

After doing the G.C. E. O/L Children are interviewed and a project which is called the Senior Promotion Project  is assigned to check the leadership and the punctuality. Best performers of this project are promoted to the next year. They are the most senior group in this association. With the guidance of masters in charge and the help of patron rules and regulations are handled by this senior group. Since they can only wear the blazer for special occasions in the school, they are easily identified. This is a dedicated journey and what we gain and what we give

Why are we here

This is a valuable attribute which is observed in a school and that practice should be taken to the society as well. We should posses self discipline first and then we can manage and show our fellow students how to behave with good discipline

Leadership effects a vast area which is being lead. Therefore a leader should properly control his territory. The guidance is very much helpful to the team members of this associations .

With the intention of passing the milestone of “making sure the whole school is working according to the rules and the regulations ” , is not an easy task. Being trained such management skills , is valuable for the students future
